The Disney + Hotstar streaming service is available in almost every region around the world wherein it offers subtitles and various language options for the majority of TV series or movies. The subtitles can be easily turned On and Off.

The process of turning On the subtitles is very much similar to other streaming platforms like Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime Video etc.

In order to turn On subtitles on a movie or TV series please follow the steps below:

1. Open the App on your phone or Laptop or on TV
2. Start watching any movie or TV series as you usually do.

3. Tap the video to check and see the options available.
4. On the Upper-right corner of the screen you will see a White Square icon. Please click on the icon.
5. A list of Audio and subtitle options will appear.
6. Choose the subtitle language you want to watch the movie or TV series in.
7. You can also tap the Settings icon in the top right corner to adjust the scale, color, and font of Disney+ if you are using it on the Web browser.
8. When you are done, please tap on the back arrow on the top- left corner.

CHROMECAST: If you are using Chromecast to watch it on your TV, then you will need to manage the settings either from App or the Web browser using the same steps mentioned above.

All you have to do is tap Up while a movie or episode is playing on the controller’s D-pad. The choices for subtitles should appear at the top of the page, which can be scrolled horizontally to pick the language you like.

AMAZON PRIME VIDEO: It is possible to call the Disney+ subtitle settings for the Amazon Fire TV app using the same device used for video game consoles. To show the subtitle menu, simply tap your remote control and then pick your preferred language.
